Welcome

Come in and take a seat at your table

Welcome

Come in and take a seat at your table

Here's some info about who we are and how we got started.

Building on our experience of restaurants and hotels, we had a dream to create a unique independent place to eat and drink, and opened our doors on Twickenham Green in 2012

We’ve brought together a team of equally friendly, passionate (and a little quirky) individuals who are dedicated to delivering the best food and drink in the neighbourhood. We specialise in steak (grass-reared beef aged with Himalayan salt) as part of a wider menu including Sunday roasts. We also have tables overlooking the green, so when the sun’s out be quick to reserve a table.

We’re continuing to grow our ideas and source high quality UK produce through local suppliers and offer new menu items every couple of weeks. We make our own sausages, cure our own bacon, bake our own bread and biscotti. Look out for our mustard and mayonnaise, coming soon. Our bar staff are always dreaming up new flavour combinations for our range of hand-crafted cocktails.

Here we are over five years later and today TW2 Bar & Grill stands out from the chains, giving locals and visitors to Twickenham our vision of a genuine steakhouse and bar with personality.

Thanks for stopping by and looking forward to seeing you again soon.

HEAD BARTENDER

Favourite tipple:
I hate to stay on the bandwagon but I've said it for years: Nothing beats a good Negroni. It's simple to make and also simple to mess up, so it's a good indicator of the quality of the bartender you're being served by. If I get a poor one, I'm on beers and shots thereafter.

Favourite food:
Larb Gai Thai Salad. Spicy, refreshing, good for you and will knock any cobwebs away if you're not feeling 100%

Likely to say:
'Cool beans'. That or 'Your drink will dilute slower if you have more ice'

My proudest moment:
Professionally - In my mid 20s my bar team won the equivalent of an Oscar. We'd worked hard and played hard over 2 years and ended up with the recognition we deserved.
Personally - Every day when I see my daughter growing, learning and developing.

If I had a superpower it would be:
Total recall - remembering large rounds of drinks and recipes.

Music I'm listening to at the moment:
Father John Misty is a current fave.

Favourite part of my day:
Getting home from work at night when it's quiet. Checking in on my sleeping ladies and pouring a glass of something nice before retiring.

Coming up next at TW2:
We're playing around with a smoking gun at the moment. And watch this space for some barrel aged drinks.
